WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

Busy, consistency, on target, focused in the zone, exceeding the goal consistently and so on.

Are these some of the words that resonate with you and your employees? Spring is here and is it harder to concentrate with warm weather. However, don’t your customers always expect the best? One of the keys to good business is always over deliver. Be able to give the extra service and exceptional products that separate the winner from the one in second place, I realized after receiving several emails where have I been,” Missed your blogs”, ” Blogs were always full of passion, ” I liked reading your blogs for the practical and industry focused content”. Thank you for that. It jump started me again in writing blogs. We always get so busy at work and life. As you are reading this, are you shaking your head saying this is I? How many times in business do we lose our vision and direction even for a moment? We do not remember the end vision goals. We do not remember to keep on track.

FOUR TIPS TO KEEP YOU FOCUSED OR GET YOU REFOCUSED:

  • HAVE YOUR GOALS/INITIATIVES WRITTEN FOR YOU TO SEE.  REMEMBER IF THESE ARE, EMPLOYEES’ GOALS HAVE THEM WHERE THEY CAN SEE THEM EVERYDAY

  • TAKE A FEW MINUTES EACH DAY TO VISUALIZE WHAT COUNTS, RECHARGE YOURSELF WITH THAT IT WORKS. SHUT YOUR EYES AND THINK ABOUT WHAT THESE SUCCESSFUL GOALS WOULD LOOK LIKE. HAVE PEOPLE IN YOUR  DEPARTMENT PARTAKE IN THIS APPROACH. VISUALIZE WHAT A SUCCESSFUL DAY IS IN YOUR OPERATION.

  • SUCCESS=SUM OF THE PARTS. IF YOU ARE FEELING FRUSTRATED ON NOT FINISHING THE WHOLE ASSIGNMENT, TASK. THEN START WITH ONE OR TWO PARTS OF A PROCESS, SALES CYCLES, SALES CALL, ETC…WHAT IS POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE TODAY? THEN DO IT WELL AND FEEL ACCOMPLISHED.ONCE YOU DO THAT  YOU WILL SEE THINGS WILL FLOW AND IDEAS WLL COME MORE EASILY. IT SEEMS FOR MOST PEOPLE IT IS THE GETTING STARTED THAT IS THE CHALLENGE. REREAD MY MICHAELANGLEO KNEW HIS BUSINESS, DO YOU KNOW YOURS?

  • CELEBRATE THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS EVERYDAY.  I HAVE EMPHASIZED THIS WHEN WORKING WITH SALES FORCES, HOSPITAL DEPARTMENTS AND IN  MY SPEAKING PROGRAM,WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME? WIIFM. CREATIVE APPROACHES, NEW IDEAS, EXTRA EFFORT ARE ALL REASON TO CELEBRATE FOR YOU AND YOUR EMPLOYEES. THERE ARE WAYS TO APPRECIATE WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK. E.G. HOW ABOUT PUTTING REGULAR OR LOW CALORIE TREATS WITH A NOTE ON SOMEONES DESK TO VALIDATE WHAT THEY HAVE DONE. YOUR WORTH A MINT-PEPPER MINT PATTY OR THANKS FOR HELPING ME DURING CRUNCH TIME-CRUNCH BAR, THANKS FOR BEING A PART OF OUR TEAM: THREE MUSKATEERS BAR.

People count on you and you count on THEM.

So count on me to give you more consistent valuable blogs.

What tips do you use to get you or your employees to refocus?

A DIFFERENT WAY TO DO BUSINESS: ENGAGING YOUR NEXT CUSTOMER

People%20Shaking%20Hands

Buying has changed forever. At one time, you could not find that many sources to get information, you primarily had to go to a store, have a sales rep call, or have a rep come to you to get information about a product or service. About 13 years ago, it all started to change, when the internet had started to become mainstream. Voila: Information Abundance.

Buyers do not want to engage as often with sales reps unless they are bringing value. They want more value added content and guidance. Give them three options. Show them that you are the expert.  Only about 25% qualified buyers go to a website or Google looking for information. New marketing strategies should be added depending on your customer focus and  have relevant content too: face book, twitter, YouTube, blogs, LinkedIn, webinars, newsletter, weekly updates, etc… This can and will  to  increase lead generation.

If done right your return on investment (ROI) as per industry researc,h could give as much as 50%more leads. The new revenue cycle starts with faster awareness.

Use your brain, be creative, engage in conversations and it will not tax your budget.

Seed nurturing is about building relationships with qualified prospects before you have their contact information. The object is to use this social strategy to make these prospects converted to customers.

Always remember that your social media campaigns should drive traffic back to your website! If this is not happening, consider restructuring. Think about how you can use ALL online efforts to generate traffic to your website.

You should be asking these questions and making changes to reflect the best customer engagement

· Is your website just a placeholder for your company?

· Is it interactive?

· Does it resonate with the consumer you are selling to?

· Is it kept relevant and timely?

Passionately helping clients engage customers,

MY GIFT TO YOU WILL ENABLE BETTER BLOGGING

blogIt is always good to continually enrich and develop yourself whether it be by reading, webinars, tweets, blogs, conferences, etc.… Recently I have participated in several webinars on blogging. I started to wonder from these webinars what is the best approach, did I do it correct, could I do it better? It was good to realize many of my tactics were correct, my content was relevant and the information I was sharing in my blogs was giving my readers my expert perspective and approach to that subject matter.  I did get from the webinars several pieces of knowledge that I didn’t have before.

Here is my gift to you to start your new year of the right way. The top 12 timely tips  for blogging better in 2011 and beyond.

As stated by Hub Spot’s survey, companies/organizations that blog have far better marketing results. Specifically, the average company/person that blogs has:

  • 55% more visitors
  • 97% more inbound links
  • 434% more indexed pages

Why are website visitors important? Because more visitors mean more people to convert to leads and sales. Better imaging of your brand.

Why are inbound links important? Because they signal authority and expertise to search engines, thus increasing your chances of getting found in those search engines.

Why are indexed pages important? The better chances of being found in a search engine.

Top Dos:

  1. Step it up notch so your blog has a differential via your content, news worthy information, top world topics: newsy items, health related items, health trends, timely comments.
  2. Drive more traffic to blogs and increase your SEO by guest posting and have guest posting on your blog. Think writer bylines. A  byline on a newspaper or magazine article gives the name, and often the position, of the writer of the article. Hyperlink the person’s name to their website or blog site.
  3. Talk about you. Make it personal and your style. Talk as yourself. Your personality.
  4. Fell free to retweet  your friends. Make it easy to retweet by having sharing buttons.
  5. Have significance in your content to the industry you want to relate too.
  6. Develop a niche. Don’t be all things to all people.
  7. Include these key buzz words when appropriate when writing your blogs: insights, analysis,  advice, review, why this product, top, best.
  8. Always  have call to action for comments
  9. Be engaging and exciting. Bring value to your blog.
  10. Spelling and grammar matters
  11. Publish your blog on a consistent basis. You decide what that will be and try to stick to that time frame(this has been something I always tell my clients but sometimes it is hard to stick to with this as other deadlines crop up.)
  12. Publish your blog early in the morning.

Won’t you share with me your blogging tip that has given you the most success?
